Updates on Indonesia Market (28/9/2010)

Just finished a meeting with top management of 4life SE Asia, Michael Seet and Deddy Aryadi.

Transfer factor tri factor formula has been approved today by the Ministry of health (28/9/2010).

This brings the total of approved products to date to three, namely together with Rio vida and Chewables which had been approved earlier.

Product labels will not contain the words colostrum as that is a sensitive issue with the regulators because of previous issues that arose (not connected with 4Life)

In place of colostrum, the labels use the words whey powder or milk protein isolate.

The products are Halal certified by MUI - Majelis Ulama Indonesia.

Location of Office - The location chosen by the company will be a place close to banks, public transport, food court etc and possibly with little traffic restriction (minimum 3 in a car).

Initially there will be the Main office in Jakarta.  Currently planned are Pick Up Centres (which are small 4life offices manned by a single staff) in different locations and 3rd Party Service Points (perhaps like courier companies).

Purchase of the Compass (‘starter kit’) will be compulsory for all distributors.  The materials will be in Bahasa Indonesia only.  

Founder’s Club - Founder’s club is a recognition.  It will be run for the first 6 months of the company’s start only.  These early distributor who achieve certain rank - Qualified Diamond and above will be recognised on stage their photo will be displayed on the wall of the company.

Promotions - all promotions by the company will come from the one company (limited) budget.  However there will be promotions to help move more volume and help achieve rank etc.  More details will come after the discussions with the leaders in Singapore and Indonesia.  And after the USA office approves the proposals.

Training and Road shows - are a valuable way to build the business.  The company proposes to do road shows with multiple meetings in a single town/city - namely - meet the leaders, followed by a night Opportunity meeting and then a training meeting the next day.

Price policy guideline - the company has received complaints about price situation in Indonesia.  VP International, Steve Apple issued the following statement that all product prices in Indonesia must NOT be below the wholesale price of the 4Life Singapore price list.

Please report the incidence and we will feed back to the company to take action against those who do not follow this directive.
